Our Story
At Barking Bistro, we believe our dogs deserve real food made with the same care we put into meals for the people we love.
Our journey started with a simple idea: dog food should look like real food. We wanted something different from highly processed food and mystery ingredients—meals where you can actually see the meat, vegetables, grains, and other wholesome ingredients that go into every recipe.
So, right here in Salem, New York, Barking Bistro was born.
We began creating small-batch recipes using thoughtfully selected ingredients and plenty of care. Instead of turning everything into an unrecognizable purée, we keep our food hearty, with visible pieces of real ingredients you can recognize.
Today, Barking Bistro offers frozen meals in a variety of recipes, along with homemade dog biscuits and jerky. Everything we create is built around the same philosophy: keep it simple, make it with care, and never forget who we're making it for.
